This course is designed for third-year students of the English Language Teacher Education Program. It extends over 15 weeks with 03 periods per week and is delivered in semester 6 of the eight-semester program. The course aims at providing students with background knowledge and practical skills of teaching three language elements (i.e. pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar) and teaching four language skills (i.e. listening, reading, speaking and writing). Besides, the course develops students’ skills of designing lesson plans and practicing teaching skills and giving feedback to their peers.

The course also engages students in individual, pair and group work activities through which they can demonstrate their ability of dealing with pedagogical issues independently and collaboratively.
